Refund & Return Policy
Our products
Our yerba mate is the heart of everything we do: sourced directly from Brazil, non-smoked, pesticide-free, and packaged with care in Canada. That part we never compromise on. Our accessories: thermoses, gourds, and bombillas are carefully selected and imported to complement your mate experience. While every item is inspected before shipping, minor cosmetic variations may occasionally occur. Small marks, slight colour differences, or minor asymmetries are not considered defects. What matters to us is that every piece that reaches you is functional, safe, and worthy of the circle.
Payments
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal. All prices are in Canadian dollars. If your payment fails, double-check your card details or contact your bank. International customers should note that currency conversion rates may affect the final charge.
Returns & refunds
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery under the following conditions:
- The item arrived damaged or defective
- You received the wrong product
- The item has not been opened or used
Food products (loose leaf, teabags) cannot be returned once opened for health and safety reasons. Please inspect all items before use to remain eligible.
To start a return, email us at info@materosunidos.ca or materosunidoscanada@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We'll respond within 48 hours. Return shipping is covered by us only if the product arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect. Otherwise, shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
Refunds are processed immediately upon approval and typically appear within 3–5 business days depending on your payment provider.
Delivery issues
If your tracking shows delivered but your package hasn't arrived, wait three business days before contacting us — it usually shows up. We are not responsible for packages sent to an incorrect address entered at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an address error, we can reship at your cost or refund the product amount excluding shipping.
